Sports have been my life for forever. and now I get to share with others how I view the game.

Hi, I’m Jack Ortegren—a sports photographer based in Hastings, Nebraska.

I’ve been around sports my entire life. It’s more than just a passion—it’s a part of who I am. I’ve played wheelchair basketball for over 14 years, and being a wheelchair user due to a spinal cord disability has shaped not only how I experience the game, but how I see it.

From courtside moments to behind-the-scenes grit, I capture sports from a perspective that’s different—and deeply personal. I know the emotion in every point, the effort behind every play, and the stories that happen between the highlights.

Through Ortegren Productions, I aim to freeze those moments in time—the hustle, the heart, and everything in between.

Let’s create something that lasts longer than the final score.
